While using Konversation to read IRC conferences I use “Enable notifications” option quite often. It is a very useful feature because I don’t want to see all the messages from such channels like: #drupal (see IRC #drupal), #ruby, #qt, and so on, but at the same time I’d like to be notified when somebody uses my nick (notifications for own nick).
